Meet Your Team Behind the Magic
Amanda Blissit, affectionately known as Mandy, launched her career in the wedding industry in January 2006 as a wedding coordinator. At first interning with a local wedding coordinating duo, then purchasing the company. After a few years, she merged her company with a new local venue, where she developed their in-house floral program. Over nearly eight years and more than 600 weddings later, and with a growing family, Mandy made the difficult decision to leave the venue/coordinating/florals she helped build. In a desire to return to running her own business, longing to maintain her connection with the events industry and her cherished clients, in 2014, Blume Haus was born.
Since its inception, Blume Haus has flourished, thanks to divine grace, the support of an incredible event vendor community, and the trust of clients who believe in their vision. Blume Haus has consistently won TheKnot.com Best of Weddings award, expanded its corporate clientele, grown its office, and built a talented team. With 13 years in the industry and involvement in over 1000 weddings and events, Amanda brings a unique understanding of the needs, desires, inspirations, and aspirations of San Antonio area brides.

Meet Ashley Shrader:
A Boerne native and full-time nursing student at Northwest Vista, Ashley has been a vital part of the Blume Haus team for over two years as our and has worn many hats. She's currently event admin and part of our set up and strike teams. She loves the fun, welcoming environment here and enjoys working with her best friends. When she’s not at work, you can find her tanning, swimming, or hanging out with family and friends. A travel enthusiast, Greece is her favorite destination, and she’s the only girl among her four brothers. Her favorite holiday? The Fourth of July!

Meet Allison Browning (Allie):
Born and raised in San Antonio, Allie’s passion for the floral industry started in high school. She’s been the Retail Store Manager at Blume Haus for over two years and loves the supportive team that makes work a joy. Outside of work, you’ll find her at the gym or spending time with friends and her dog, Dos. Fun fact: at just 9 years old, she won the state championship for level 3 gymnast floor and vault routines!

Meet Elizabeth Moore:
Originally from Lake Forest, IL, Elizabeth moved to San Antonio after her husband got a job opportunity, and she’s loving the warm weather! With over four years at Blume Haus, she works closely with brides to design their dream wedding flowers.
Having worked with flowers since high school, she loves expressing her passion for nature through floral design. When she’s not at work, you’ll find her hanging out with her kids or skateboarding—her favorite way to get around!
